Ravens linebacker Suggs points out the shortages of teammates

After the Ravens were upset from the Jaguars on Monday Night, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs questioned the team's offensive strategy for the loss to Jacksonville.

He expressed his dissatisfaction while using the team ready

The Ravens did not have a first down until deep into your third quarter and didn't score until 2:02 remained at the tables. They managed 11 first downs and 146 total yards.

Suggs called out the coaching staff for not utilizing running back Ray Rice sometimes throughout the contest. "They kept it simple. Jones Drew had 30 carries. His backup (Deji

Karim) had 10 or 15. It baffles me that Ray Rice only had seven carries," Suggs said. "This Rice may be a Pro Bowl running back we're talking about. You've got to feed the

horse. They fed their horse. We ended up to feed our horse. Also mentioned by Suggs was receiver Anquan Boldin, who he feels should've been an inclusive part of the gameplan.

"How many catches did Anquan Boldin have? We now have guys nobody can do phenomenal things. We have got to get them the ball. It's so simple," Suggs said.

"I don't really know what the strategy was," Suggs told

Suggs said. "We gotta use those guys." Baltimore is 20th altogether offense and 19th in rushing offense but eighth with 25.8 points per game.

Although he earned these comments when he doesn't "like to get rid of, Suggs is both right and wrong in a sense. Rice, despite fumbling next to the goalline, should have got

more touches, but what lost this online game for Baltimore was really a combination of good defense from Jacksonville and inconsistent play of quarterback Joe Flacco. Flacco

showed poor signs from the pocket through the night,

Jags' defenders to contest virtually every throw. He needed to get the ball to its playmakers, like Boldin and rookie Torrey Smith, but his passes were simply off target many

In the event the Ravens take on the Cardinals along with porous run defense, maybe the Suggs' wishes should be realized as Rice may be in line for one huge workload in Week 8.

So moving forward Ravens.
